Full day guided group tour of Delhi, which is a city of contrasts, home to almost 17 million inhabitants from different parts of India. The city is divided into a new and an old city. Both cities are completely different from each other. Old Delhi is the heart of the city, where life is in full swing according to the laws of the multi-million dollar jungle and medieval exoticism. Old Delhi was once called New Delhi and this was in the 17th century. It was designed by Emperor Shah Jahan as the new capital of the Mughal Empire and named it Shahjahanabad. Multifaceted, many-sided, contrasting - these epithets are suitable for many cities in the world, but especially for Delhi. You will see the flavor of the old city and modern skyscrapers in New Delhi.

I was in Delhi for work and had a downtime during weekend. I decided to visit Taj Mahal and book the sunrise tour with Ali thru Viator. The driver picked me up at the hotel at 230am and got to Agra by 6am. Ali gave a lot of background and insights on Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. His stories about the mausoleum and Agra palaces inside the fort were fascinating. Learned a lot about Mughal emperors of India. We also had quick stop at the marble sellers and carpet sellers. After this, we were on our way back to Delhi which took close to 4 hours. By 3pm I was back at the hotel and dozed off.
