The river in Haridwar was almost non- existent it had been dammed .???. Aarte ceremony authentic and participatory . In Rishikesh it’s very theatrical. More for tourists than pilgrims. A long speech in English at the end by an expat American... boring.

Visited Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama and it is amazing experience. Needs prior permission and resevation to stay and only those who follow the principles and practice are allowed. Need to experience the peace and tranquility.
