It was the kingdom of Sikarwar Rajput kings who later settled in the surrounding Kheragarh and Morena districts of Madhya Pradesh. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of Muslim architecture. The Fatehpur Sikri Mosque is said to be a copy of the Mecca Mosque and its designs are taken from Hindu and Parsi architecture.

Aashish was a great guide! We went to the Taj Mahal in the early morning and then the Agra Fort in the early afternoon and both tours were super! Very informative of all aspects of Mughal and Lodi empire history including dates, people, art, and social information! Very satisfying and helpful with these rich cultural destinations to have a seasoned, and knowledgeable guide. Fluent English also.

Aashish was super professional and made our experience in Agra very enjoyable. He’s very knowledgable and informative. He was always looking out for us and as much as possible tried to tailor our trip to what we wanted. We visited the Taj Mahal, Amber fort and also a marble shop. Plus points he also takes really good pictures! :) Would recommend for your trip!
