Unfortunately my husband and I booked this tour through Viator. When we got to the meeting spot for this tour we were told that they no longer do this particular tour by the tour guide who was their for a different tour which just happened to be the same day and time. This gentleman by the name of Kim went above and beyond to help us by calling Tastebud tours to make sure that we were not booked, which he then confirmed that the tour no longer existed and that there had been a mistake and there was no tour for us to do so we needed to contact Viator. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with Viator for you would think that they would not be taking people’s money for a tour that does not exist anymore so we were out $200 as the tour was $100 a person. Shame on Viator for not doing their due diligence and making sure these tours are still in affect. There was also another couple there who booked the same seafood tour who were also out of their money. please make sure to check and then double check to make sure or you will be out of your money. We have not been refunded yet, but it’s only been a short time. Hopefully we will get our $200 back but unfortunately, for now we had to find somewhere else to eat and cough up more money. We can only hope that Viator will make this right as we booked with them and confirmed with them with the confirmation number and reference number.. I also contacted Viator immediately afterwards as they confirm my booking so it was not a scam. It was poor management on Viators end. I can’t imagine taking someone’s money and not making sure these things still exist. I booked weeks ahead of time so they had plenty of time to contact me and let me know the tour did not exist anymore and refund my money. I would say I booked 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time. Absolutely unacceptable. I’m taking the time to write this review in order to warn other unsuspecting individuals so that they don’t have to go through this..
