Our experience was very educational. My teenage nephews and I learned and experienced a lot. Our tour guide Jim was great!

The house and grounds are both architecturally interesting and historically disturbing, which was handled with thoughtful candor by our excellent guide, Jim. Don’t miss the cabins of enslaved people or the small exhibit on the 1811 slave uprising.

Beverly was a phenomenal tour guide! It was a very educational and entertaining tour. As someone who can easily get bored by history of museums, I felt engaged the entire time.
