This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well. Tours go out rain or shine.

This was an excellent two hour tour of the French Quarter. Our guide was was knowledge, friendly and and gladly answered questions. She covered history as well a the architecture of the area. It was great introduction to the French Quarter. We would highly recommend it.

Edmond was great he was so informative and funny loved him ???? he took us to the best picture spot of the cathedral! We took this tour literally 30 minutes after landing in New Orleans and it was perfect to get our feet wet and have a guide through the French quarter before just being thrown in on our own! Highly recommend for your first day

Our guide, Kirk, was a wealth of knowledge. Wouldn’t know all the tidbits of the French Quarter if we had not gone on the tour.
