The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impecable. Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

This was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans. We really enjoyed the time we spent with Chef David. He was very personable and we learned a lot. The bread pudding was the best we have ever had - light and fluffy. The BBQ shrimp was fantastic! Can't wait to make it for our friends and family. A must do experience when in New Orleans!

Awesome experience. The instructor was great and imparted several useful nuggets of info that I will carry forward into all cooking. The food was amazing, would recommend if you're looking for a nice morning/afternoon event

Everything about our three-hour class with Barry was exceptional. He is organized, experienced, knowledgeable not only about what he's teaching but about fine cuisine in general. My husband and I had a fun learning experience capped with a delicious meal of jambalaya, barbecued shrimp and chocolate bread pudding in the Traditions class. We've taken lots of cooking classes over the years, and this measured up with the best!
