    We will walk pass one of New Orleans’ oldest cemeteries - Lafayette Cemetery. Continually popular with travelers, the cemetery has a unique approach to burials: namely, the above-ground, multiple-burial techniques used.

    We then continue on for a view of one of the most striking buildings in all of New Orleans: Commander’s Palace. New Orleans is always a popular filming location for the movie industry and the homes in the Garden District have had starring roles in several films.

Finally, we’ll take one final stroll past several more picturesque antebellum homes, making our way back close to the streetcar line.

Walter gave a fantastic tour. I have been a few other garden district tours before and found this one to be the most interesting and informative. It was a lovely time and I would highly recommend Walter and this tour to others!

Chip was a phenomenal tour guide and so knowledgeable! We greatly enjoyed walking with him through the Garden District, learning about the history of some of the beautiful homes, admiring the architecture, learning about the cemeteries, and new Orleans history! This was the best tour we did in new Orleans! Highly recommended and one of the best experiences we had during our visit. Thank you Chip!
