The smaller sized, quiet boat can fit through narrow passages in the swamp foliage so that you see more and get closer to wildlife. As your guide explains the history of Louisiana’s wetlands and swamp ecosystem, be on the lookout for resident wildlife including alligators, raccoons, owls, wild boar, nutria, snakes, turtles, black bears, bald eagles and many other bird species. Get a close look at some wild gators as your guide shares facts about the toothy beasts, who can weigh up to 1,000 pounds (453 kg). Une très belle matinée de découverte du bayou. Nous avons eu la chance de voir toutes la faune et la flore c’était vraiment bien. Comme tous les swamps tour ils nourrissent les animaux mais eux le font à base de nourriture naturelle et pas de chamallow comme les autres tours. A faire sans hésiter

Tolle Information zum Leben der Menschen auf den Hausbooten, zum Leben der Tiere dort und der Vegetation. Wir konnten mit einem Fischer dort vor Ort sprechen und haben Alligatoren un Waschbären in weniger als einem Meter Entfernung gesehen. Unser Führer war offen für alle Fragen und hatte tollen Humor!
