We had Pepe for our guide. He chose classic New Orleans foods for us to sample and they were all excellent. As promised, we had 5 food samples (gumbo yaya, red beans and rice, pralines, muffaletta, beignet and calas) at 4 places. He is also an excellent historian and he gave a detailed explanation of a number of concepts such as the difference between Creole and Cajun! Best of all, he was very flexible with the route given the rainy weather. I highly recommend him.

Our guide, Simon was great. He was very informative about the history of NOLA as well as the history of the foods we were tasting. We were happy we took the tour on day 1 because we learned so much about where we wanted to go next!
