Our most popular 3 hour driving tour is an overview of New Orleans, traveling in the comfort of our luxurious Honda Odyssey minivan. We'll start in the French Quarter, where the city’s colorful history began. We’ll continue to the Marigny and the Bywater, two charming downriver neighborhoods, and get a sense of their changing history through the centuries and in the 14 years since Hurricane Katrina. We’ll proceed up mansion-lined Esplanade Avenue towards Bayou St. John and to City Park, one of our nation’s oldest urban parks and home to the world’s largest stand of mature live oak trees. We will continue upriver along iconic St. Charles Avenue through the University area into the fabled Garden District. Approaching Canal Street, we’ll pass through the Warehouse Arts District, by the World War II Museum and the Central Business District. A condensed presentation, this tour is great for hot summer months, (we’re in air conditioning the whole time!) or for visitors short on time.

An excellent tour. The info was catered to our interests and we learned a ton. Even my 13yr old was entertained and that’s hard to do! 10/10 would go again

Our guide Cassandra from Soul of NOLA provided a superb driving tour tour of New Orleans! She is an exceptional guide who is highly knowledgeable about the city's history and culture. The entire experience (from online trip booking, to confirmations, to pick up & drop off) was highly professional. Our multi-generational group ranged in ages from 20 - 81, so we wanted a driving tour with the option to get out of the car several times for photos in the French Quarter & Garden District as well as a visit to Café du Monde for Beignets. Cassandra customized the trip with me over the phone, and was even willing to pick us up at the river dock where we had just finished a Viking Mississippi river cruise. The minivan was clean and comfortable and easy for the older passengers to get in and out of. Cassandra is very friendly and showed us the best of NOLA, before dropping us several hours later at the airport. We highly recommend her!

Cassandra provided us with a wonderful day. From the time she picked up our party of 6 on Girod Street, until we got dropped off for our afternoon lunch at Commander's Palace, the day was filled with excitement and ease. We had a private tour, which allowed us to curate our own day. We visited City Park, The Pitot House and Longue Vue. The day was gorgeous. We stopped by to have a drink at Hotel Henrietta, before ending at Commander's Palace. If you want gorgeous pictures, the lighting at Hotel Henrietta was amazing! The orange juice used in my mimosa tasted fresh squeezed!
Thank you Cassandra and Soul of NOLA! As always, we will be back!
