Pieces of 8 took us out in very poor weather conditions. They should have rescheduled the tour like all the other companies did (I found this out later). They drove 40 min. out to Exuma through high waves at 50 mph. It was a very painful trip, had to stabilize ourselves so as not to fly out of boat, water in the eyes that felt like needles for entire time, basically waterboarded for 45 min. straight. After 45 min. they decided they couldn't make it there and that we wouldn't make it back so finally turned around. 45 min. back to Atlantis in same scary conditions. My kids were terrified. They tell everyone they almost died at Atlantis. Pieces of 8 promised a refund and still has not processed it 20 days later. Be careful giving them credit card as well. When 1st purchased the trip in November, my card started having lots of fraudulent charges. I gave them new card for refund in July. Haven't received the refund, but new card started having fraudulent charges within 24 hours of providing card to them. They still owe me over 2095.00. I couldn't get any pictures because I couldn't let go of railing for even a second. I was stabilizing myself so as to not bang my legs into the railing in front of me. My kids were coming off their seats so I was trying to hold them down as well.

The Pieces of 8 tours was AMAZING! An entire day filled with sun, fun, food and drinks. Captain Jello and Travis were the best!! We went to so many places in the Exumas…feeding the iguanas, an amazing sand bar, swimming with the adorable pigs, a wonderful lunch, held and swam with nurse sharks, and relaxed at a private beach. Not to mention, learned tons of stuff about the animals and the history of the islands. If you have to pick one thing to do in the Bahamas, do this!!!
