Our knowledgeable guide Becky taught us so much, unveiling the city's hidden gems and iconic landmarks with passion and enthusiasm. With each step, we discovered a newfound appreciation for our local area. This tour not only enlightened us but ignited a genuine love for Newcastle, leaving us eager to explore even more of its treasures. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to uncover the heart and soul of the city!

What a fabulous way to be introduced to Newcastle… our walk tour guide, Gemma was knowledgeable, engaging and able to respond to all my many questions about the buildings and public artworks we walked around. She was warm and friendly and made the tour a really enjoyable experience. This was my first visit to Newcastle and I enjoyed this activity so much that i hope to return soon and join another of the Newcastle Afoot walk tours, to further explore this interesting city.

Gemma was our tour guide on this particular tour. Gemma was very knowledgeable and had lots of information regarding all the places she took us to. My friend has lived in Newcastle for over 40 years now, and Gemma showed her places and street art that she was completely unaware existed. The tour went for two hours and was done at a very pleasant walking pace for a couple of 60+-year-old women. I would strongly recommend this cure for not just tourists but locals as well. I will be booking in for the other tour in the near future. Did you know that Newcastle is the second oldest city in Australia, well now you do!
