We visit the smaller boutique wineries to savour wines that are unique to the Hunter Valley and often not available away from the cellar doors. Enjoy an organised tasting with a local cheese maker and a delicious cafe lunch with a glass of wine. This tour is not suitable for children under 18 years of age.

Ben and Stu took us to various stops around the Hunter Valley on the wine tasting trip. I feel as if the locations were perfectly ordered to let us learn about wine and how to drink it which was perfect for someone unfamiliar with the culture. Each winery we visited was hosted by incredibly friendly individuals who spoke of the vineyards history as well as the history of each variety of wine and the grapes that went into making them. This comprehensive knowledge of their products allowed each tasting menu to be tailored and altered to fit each person’s individual tastes and history with wine. They were friendly and personable and did their best to make the tour as pleasurable as possible. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of the route we took and took the time to recommend other things to do on our trip. Thanks to their effective scheduling we were even able to take additional unplanned stops to take shots of kangaroo families they spotted on the drive as well as a favorite chocolate shop of theirs they arranged a tasting at. I cannot recommend the experience enough. This tour and the various wines I tasted today will no doubt lead to my newfound interest in wine and wine parings going into the future. As a bonus note which might otherwise go unnoticed or unmentioned, they were very skilled drivers which allowed for a smooth ride which was a very welcome aspect for someone who spent an extravagant day indulging in wine and cheese.

Ben and Stew were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to give us a great experience on our tour. A lot was shared about the various sights along the way. Both were very personable throughout the entire tour.
