The orientation Tour is an excellent way to get your bearings and a little local knowledge when you arrive. The airport transfers are simpl;e and convenient.

Our first tours were the airport pick-up and drop off at our accommodation followed by the half day orientation tour.
Airport pick-up and drop off at our accommodation went well although we had to wait some time for some stragglers to find there way out of the terminal.
Half day orientation tour was very informative and interesting and was focussed mainly on the historical sights around Kingston as well as a visit to St Barnabas Chapel. This tour finished with a morning tea in Baunti's offices.
The second tour we did was the progressive dinner where our driver was the delightful Rachel. The three different courses (entree, main and dessert) were all very good. Unfortunately the same could not be said of our speakers. The first Robyn(?) Christian was excellent. She gave a very animated, humorous and alternative view of the Bounty mutiny. Very entertaining.
Our main course speaker was a former whaler who decided not to speak about his experiences but show us models of boats and whales and talk in generalities. The last speaker had a very large house and excavation/building(?) business and just answered questions which to be fair, on his part, were in the most part things put by people on the tour who should already have known the answers. Nevertheless we didn't find him interesting, informative or really welcoming.
The last tour was the fish fry which we self drove to. Unfortunately it had been raining off and on so we were housed in a number of tents in what appeared to be a paddock near the cliffs with views of the ocean. The seating area was poorly lit and very crowded - you had to stand up to let people in and out to get past you. The food though was plentiful and tasty. People were invited up for seconds. There was also a bar where you could purchase drinks, both soft and alcoholic.
The entertainment was a singer who played guitar. He was good until he tried to sing songs that were well outside of his vocal range. The four young dancers were very good. Our friends went to a Fish Fry on the same night with Pine Tree tours and showed us the photos. Their setup appeared to be more permanent with more space for tables and seating. Similar food and entertainment, although they had more dancers.

I actually did several tours with this group, but I wasn’t given the option to choose various. The staff, from drivers to office staff are all good. Each time I was with them for a tour, I couldn’t fault the great knowledge and assistance. Only one disappointment was when I was dropped at my accommodation from the airport. The driver wouldn’t drive into the property, so I had to awkwardly get my luggage up an incline.
But as far as tours go, they were very good. The Convicts tour is perfect to learn the history of the island.
