Join this owner operated private tour as we do some real exploring deep into the mountains. This adventure is perfect for 3 guests with seating up to 4 in our Toyota Highlander SUV. Just released: optional half day tour at a reduced rate, subject to availability. We're visiting the sub tropical rainforests and waterfalls. With full flexibility the day is yours to choose your own itinerary. There's plenty of aerial photography and video drone opportunities on this tour as we travel to remote away from the crowds enjoying unique perspectives. We’ll see the important stuff, but there’s a lot more to The Blue Mountains than the three sisters and Scenic World. We go places they can’t go enjoying the tranquillity of nature with no crowds, no traffic. The title of this tour is no mistake, we really do 'Escape The Crowds'.     This can be discussed prior to or on the day of your tour as we recommend visiting this park in the morning on route to the Blue Mountains. This is your chance to get to know up close and personal native Australian Wildlife including, Kangaroos, Pademelons, Wallaby, Koalas, Dingoes, plus many more. Take your time or make it quick, it's up to you as the day is yours to remember at your leisure and pace. Full day option only. This is an optional stop not included in the price of the tour please advise if you’d like to visit this park.

    Our first stop is an optional visit into The Lower blue Mountains National Park where very few others venture to. You'll be surrounded by lush bushland and listen to nothing but the birds and wildlife including Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Magpies even cicadas during summer. Enjoy the sounds of the Australian Bush here in the lower mountains national park. This is a real Escape from the Crowds. We may consider a quick coffee here or make a dash for the upper mountains. Depending on your choices, this may/may not be included. As this venue is only accessible crossing a water causeway, this may not be available following heavy rain. Optional town visit showcasing the diversity of the charming villages. Full day option only.

    This is the most spectacular waterfall in the mountains and a must-see when visiting this region. Get photography tips using your iPhone with long exposure waterfall photography then we'll take a walk to look over the falls with an optional extension to the bottom. These views are spectacular! How far we go here is up to you.. Depending on your level of fitness this may or may/not be included in the tour for passengers looking for more of a driving tour with less walking. Fancy a swim in the warmer months? Bring your swimmers for a dip in the pool under the waterfall, it'll be a moment you'll never forget.

Driver Dave fully customized our tour— he is extremely knowledgeable sharing his years of experience guiding folks through the beautiful Blue Mountains. He took us to views well off the trodden path and avoided the big bus tours of crowds. We also visited the Ferndale Animal rescue park— what a delight overall and we can’t recommend Dave and his brand new Mercedes van!

David’s Blue Mountains Escape the Crowds tour was exactly what we were seeking. Not only did we avoid the crowds; David took us to gorgeous vistas of the Three Sisters where we were unbelievably the only people there! He is a very knowledgeable guide and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the cultural history, terrain, flora and fauna throughout the tour. We loved the flexibility of the day, as we were given choices throughout. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who doesn’t want to clump along with the tour buses and desires a personalized experience!

Visiting the Blue Mountains for a day trip with David did not disappoint! David was punctual, friendly, courteous, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable about Australia, Sydney and The Blue Mountains area. Hi car is clean and comfortable and he really went out of his way to personalize the experience for us. We visited Featherdale where we had close encounters with the animals, we took a gorgeous hike up Wentworth Falls and saw the famous Three Sisters as David regaled us with myths, legends and geological facts about how they were formed. We enjoyed a wonderful pub lunch and poked through a quirky local town. David is wonderful - we highly recommend his SUV tour!
