Information was there, storytelling was not. The police officer who used to run the tour is no longer there. Some facts, but lots of things that might have occurred or perspective. This tour could be much better and needs to be redone to share stories and gove more context versus definitions and sporadic items not tied together. Food was average at best at a local eatery which we later got a bill for the wine after they poured for the group.

This was so much fun! John was an excellent and absorbing host, who managed everything expertly. Great food, great history! I was surprised there are still a few physical remnants of NY's immigrant (and Mafia) past. Did I mention - excellent food?

The tour was fine but you need to know a lot about the mafia stories already to appreciate it and keep up. We skipped one food visit so we only had one with a huge meal instead. I would definitely have preferred a few short stops with smaller bites instead of so much food at once.
