The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated park, greenway built on a historic, elevated freight line. The High Line is a public park programmed, maintained, and operated by Friends of the High Line, in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. View art, walk through gardens, experience a performance, enjoy delicious food. The southern end of the park is shaded by gray birch and serviceberry trees. Washington Grasslands & Woodland Edge section is full of grasses, perennials, and woody species that tolerate the shade of the surrounding buildings. The Vessel “New York’s Staircase,” 154 interconnecting flights of stairs, 2,500 individual steps and 80 landings. Built bronzed steel located in the center of Hudson Yards. This honey comb shaped 150' tall art piece can accommodate up to 1000 people at a time. The tour end near the Vessel.

We could only view this from the outside as it was closed. My wife was uninspired but I thought it was great. Looks like a spaceship has just landed in middle of NYC.

I didn’t have an experience I showed up and waited for the tour to begin and no tour guide came I couldn’t get in touch at first and finally a half hour later someone called me and told me that they canceled the tour because they weren’t enough people but no one contacted me my friend came into the city to meet me and I traveled five hours to get there. I’m expecting a refund on my credit card and I also ask them for compensation in a financial apology because that was disgraceful.
