Central Park NYC Electric Bike Rental

We had so much fun exploring Central Park on our rented Fancy Apple e-bikes on Sunday, April 16th. The store is just two blocks south of the park which made drop off and pick up very easy and convenient. The staff at the store was not the most friendly but they were fine. They demonstrated the features of our bikes and locks clearly and we had no problems or issues during our 4-hour rental period. It was a lovely day and the park was full of people. The roads are closed to cars on the weekend which made the experience of riding the roads of the park feel safe and fun. We did the whole loop of the park a few times and we also locked up our bikes in a few different locations so we could explore areas like the Ramble, Bethesda Fountain, the reservoir and Strawberry Fields. This is a super fun family activity and we highly recommend the e-bikes as they help enormously with traversing the hills.

We did a 2 hr. bike rental for Central Park and loved it! The bikes worked great! We had a group ages 13-50 and everyone enjoyed it. Best way to see the park! Thank you!

The bikes were good. Lasted a long time and we went around Central park, which is huge! Please note though that you cannot ride in Central park. Only on the outskirts. You can get a 300 pound fine. Which a very rude new york explained. Also, please remember to take your passport with you when collecting your bike. And also 200 dollars for a deposit for the bikes. This wasn't something which was explained in the letter I received when booking. Overall we had a good time. The men in the shop even give us an extra 2hrs as the bike charger wasn't in properly. They were very helpful. Only note to shop is please explain to foreign customers you can't ride bike inside Central park please. There are no signs on this around the park.
