It’s totally worth it to go up there but don’t book the sundown times. It’s wasted money, because until you up there, there’s no more sunset to see. You can try the first time in the row but it’s still a tight schedule to get up there.

Wir waren morgens auf dem Empire State Building, um uns den Sonnenaufgang anzusehen. Alles ging richtig gut, da nicht viele Leute da waren. Von da oben hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht über ganz New York. Bei Sonnenaufgang sieht man dann auch noch alle Lichter der Stadt. Und es ist ist wahr: New York ist die Stadt, die niemals schläft. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, denn es ist ein einmaliges und unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Totally worth the extra price to go at night. The view of the city at night was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
