Our guide Ben knew not only the historical impact of the buildings and people but also their current use and tenancy. Fascinating. Wider in range than I expected, this tour covered financial history from the Revolution on but also keenly highlighted the integrity failures of 2008 in situ. From the Stock Exchange to the Federal Reserve and everything in between, this was the introduction to the Financial District that left me feeling like I knew the place. The financial history of Trinity Church, too? Wow. We learned so much. Thank you, Ben.
