Had a really lovely time with our tour guide! 2 hours is plenty for any museum goer especially in somewhere as huge as the Met. We learned a nice range of art periods and continents. My family really enjoyed it.

The MET itself is really iconic and definitely worth the trip. Loved the rooftop and cocktails. The highlights tour takes you through specific sections (not sure if this is based on the specific tour guide's expertise or the tour itself). We did Egyptian, Greek, American and Impressionist. Wish I saw more cultural sections like Asian, African, Native American. The tour guide was very friendly and encouraging.
