Gids Robby nam ons 5,5 uur mee door Manhattan. Naast de beroemde plekjes nam hij ons ook mee naar een Zweeds kerkje/bibliotheek voor cinnamon-roles en naar een 165 jaar oude Ierse pub. Hij raadde ons de hamburgers in Broome Street aan. Ook daar hadden we ‘s avonds geen spijt van. Een onvergetelijke kennismaking met Manhattan!

Robbie was a good guide and an excellent navigator through the roads and traffic of Manhattan. The cars are slow and considerate. At no time did we feel unsafe. We were 2 couples and Robbie gave us options as we went. He had insights into all sorts of unusual places. He gave us 5 hours with 3 brief stops for refreshments. Bikes were really good and well set up. We are 70 and kept the pace easily. Thank goodness it was flat and not San Francisco! Thank you Robbie. Philip and Janet.

Wir waren mit 2 Anderen auf der Tour. Es war sehr beeindruckend zwischen Bus,Taxi und Autos zu fahren mitten in der Stadt. Unser Guide war sehr freundlich und wusste sehr viel über die Skyscrapers. Unsere Rute war sehr umfangreich man hatte das gefühl durch ganz New York zu Radeln. Das Temo war leider oft zu schnell und mann konnte es nicht ganz so geniessen. Auch der Central Park wurde nur kurz besichtigt. Teilweise unnötige stops. Der guide hatte nicht wirklich an uns interesse mit uns zu reden. Als 2 Job der perfekte Ausgleich zum Büro. China Town und Littel italy war unnötig, man konnte nicht wirklich mit dem bike durch die strassen fahre. Aber da wir sehr gerne Velo fahren, war das ein super ausgleich die stadt zu sehen.
