Having visited NYC twice before and gone to Liberty Island each time, we wanted to see the Statue for my daughter (first trip to NYC) but weren't too fussed about stopping off again. As such, decided to take advantage of City Pass and give this a go. We all really enjoyed the experience, you get great views of the statue (they are better from the water than the island itself) and learn so much about New York as well as seeing Manhattan (and Brooklyn) from a different perspective. The tour guide was really informative and interesting and I think this is a must do for visitors

We had the 90 minute tour past the Statue of Liberty and other sights into the East River and were totally thrilled. The Führer explained all the details in great detail and capriciously. You just have to be there 45 minutes in advance to get a good seat.
