Our tour leader, Adam, was personable and knowledgeable--you get information about the history of the neighborhoods, not just the food stops--and the food was great! We sampled everything from pastrami at Katz's deli, the site where the famous "I'll have what she's having" scene was filmed in When Harry met Sally, to pot stickers, to bagels & bialys, to a store that sold pickled pretty much anything you can think of out of barrels, to a doughnut shop where we sampled a dulce de leche doughnut and a Brooklyn blackout doughnut, which was the best chocolate doughnut I've ever tasted bar none.
