  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Car was dirty and it smells. Driver also was a heavy breather. He missed the turn to take the freeway and end up taking side streets and some of my family got car sick from all the stops. I would like to request for 50% credit for unsatisfactory experience.

The Carmel service is reliable in itself and the price quoted is reasonable if you are a large group of 5 like us. We used it 4 times in NY. but you have to confirm each time after booking (by phone, sometimes an online link is also available, which is difficult to find), otherwise the time and meeting point are sometimes not taken over, even if you have specified it. On arrival at the airport, you have to call again to arrange a meeting point. For us this was always an expensive international phone call and it was sometimes difficult to communicate directly with the driver. Some hardly speak any English. The transfer costs the price you pay in advance and (be careful!) a non-transparent and very different toll fee in addition (sometimes $20-35 more!) AND the drivers DEMAND a tip of at least 20% of the total price. If the tip is lower, you are harassed, so that we got the impression that the drivers don't get anything from the transfer money paid. The cars have all been clean and the drivers drove safely.
