  • How will I get around the city?
  • Most of the tour will require a good deal of walking, however, because the tours are exclusive to your group, you can and will go at a pace that you are comfortable with. There may be occasions when you will need to go from one part of NYC to another (Times Square to the Brooklyn Bridge). The most efficient way to travel is by subway ($2.75 per person, per ride). If you prefer a cab this can be arranged (no more than 4 people to a cab). The cost will be at the expense of the group, usually about $10 - $15 from most points within Manhattan. If you do take a subway ride, this will be documented as part of the New York City experience.
  • How will I receive my photos?
  • Your photos will be delivered via zip-file and photo gallery no later than 48 hours after your tour.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Excellent tour with Mark! As a professional photographer, he knows all the right places and takes pictures you wouldn’t think of. But on top of that, he also helps reviewing your plans for visiting the city, swapping not-do-good places with better options. So best doing this at the beginning of your visit!

We were referred to Photo Trek Tours by friends who had done it previously - this is a MUST DO experience - and highly recommend doing this on the front end of your trip. Our photographer Marc was amazing - we chose Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge and then asked Marc to recommend our final spot (Greenwich Village - fantastic). He's local and really knowledgeable about NYC and also gave us great subway tips. Our pictures are beautiful (we now have our holiday card pictures done) - Marc's really a pro at setting up great shots at each location. We were very happy with our experience, and would recommend to anyone coming to NYC. And, your pictures far exceed anything you could do on your own!

Marc was an excellent tour guide and professional photographer! His deep knowledge of the city gave us the confidence to navigate with ease, making the rest of our trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend booking this experience early in your visit to take advantage of the insights and tips he shares. The photos were incredible. Marc captured so many amazing shots we wouldn’t have been able to get on our own. We loved exploring neighborhoods like Soho, Noho, and Greenwich Village, as well as seeing the Brooklyn Bridge from a unique perspective. Overall, a fantastic experience that was definitely worth it! Highly recommend!
