Tribeca has a distinct personality all on its own, so we decided to honor it with its own tour. And trust us, no architecture knowledge is needed to enjoy this tour. If you enjoy beautiful buildings, amazing history and hearing incredible stories about how a farmland turned into one of New York City's most famous neighborhoods, and the wealthiest zip code in the United States, this tour is for you! During our 2 1/2 hours together, we will visit over 15 locations, stopping for pictures and learning about how Tribeca got its name, how the neighborhood played a huge part in the formation of Manhattan, and seeing some of the most hidden, or easily missed, historical sights in the neighborhood!

This was really one of the best walking tour we've ever taken part. I'm serious. It was complete, interesting, lively, satisfying. The guide, Meghan, was professional and passionate: she made the neighbourhood become alive for us. Tribeca is a beautiful and interesting place but, without the guide, I don't think we would have been able to appreciate it as it deserves. Thank you Meghan and thank you Metro Tours. Highly recommended.

Meghan was a wonderful tour guide. So much interesting information—and delivered w lots humor and wit. It was also 100 degrees and sunny that day, and she did a great job giving the tour while maximizing shade, air conditioning, and sitting. Highly recommend, 5 stars.

I think about this tour often since the trip. It was very interestingly presented and had a heap of great information that made me appreciate New York more. Would recommend to anyone interested in architecture or history
