A delightful tram journey through historic Christchurch with a guided talk from the tram driver. Lots to learn about the history of the trams as well as the city. Very helpful ticket sellers and this trip can be linked to Punting on the Avon . A great section of the journey is travelling along New Regent Street a Charming little street of cafes and shops with the tram almost touching the cafe tables .

A really good introduction to Christchurch. We used it to decide what places we wanted to go back to and to get a sense of how easy it would be to get to them. We enjoyed the live commentary.

With only one day in Christchurch, we found the tram a great way to get around while being informed about the city. The driver pointed out places of interest as well as giving information about each spot. The conductor on our tram was very friendly. We did the route as soon as we arrived in Christchurch to familiarise ourselves with the city before we alighted and explored further on foot.
