For the morning, explore the beauty of the Head of Lake Wakatipu and the lush Paradise Forests. Bring the films to life with our authentic replica props, dress up for some photos, or simply enjoy the serenity. You will return to Queenstown for lunch at a local café before the afternoon tour begins. You will then set out to enjoy the sights around The Queenstown area. Explore more stunning filming locations, adventure off- road with river crossings in the Arrow, and venture down a historic and exciting mining road. You will see a spectacular panoramic view over the area before being returned to your hotel to end the day.

The best tour I’ve ever done. If you’re a fan of the movies you won’t be disappointed. The guides were excellent for both legs of the journey, really friendly and full of knowledge on all topics, especially Pete. The scenery is very recognisable and the guides carry a photograph reference of all filming locations.

Fantastic tour. Our guide was exceptional and well versed on the countryside and Lord of the Rings particularly. The sights were amazing and I took so many pictures. We stopped for refreshments at some spectacular spots. I would recomment this company with a 10+. Thank you Jeffrey for a really cool adventure.

What a fun day! Justin was amazing. He took us all over and was very sweet to consider all of our needs. We made new friends and overall just had a blast. I can't believe what all we were able to do in a day. If y'all can't decide between LOTR and Scenic, trust me when I say you get plenty of both.
