We had a wonderful afternoon with our tour guide Roger, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about both LOTR and the locations, as well as sharing his experiences working on the films and in the film industry in general. We were lucky enough to be the only 3 people on the tour so it was like spending the day hanging out with mates. The 4WDing was great fun too. Thanks Roger, this was definitely a highlight of our trip!

We are not the biggest LOTR fans, so this was more of a scenic trip for us than a full blown LOTR tour. Our guide Jono was excellent, tailoring the tour to us, giving us a lot of more general and interesting knowledge about the areas we drove through, while still pointing out all of the areas that the scenes were shot, as well as bringing some fun to the tour at the end point. He was also an amazing photographer and director, we have some really memorable photos and videos! A really good, fun tour through some of the best scenery you'll ever see.
