Only company with any access to Longstone Island and Grace Darling's Lighthouse. Your skipper and tour guide, George, is current Trinity House Lighthouse Attendant so you will get the best commentary possible. We are a small family run company that genuinely cares about the area.

    UNIQUE & EXCLUSIVE. As the Skipper, George, is the Trinity House lighthouse attendant, we have exclusive access to Longstone Islands and Grace Darling's lighthouse. Optional extra to tour inside Grace Darling's Lighthouse. Small fee paid on entry in cash which goes to charity. Travelers that decide to not go in, may walk around island during this time. Longstone Island is also home to the Grey Seal Colony. Only island you can land with your dog if kept on a lead and away from the wildlife.

    A complete and comprehensive tour around all of the island with full expert commentary. Traverse Grace Darling's rescue route with current lighthouse attendant George. See all of the seabirds nesting on the cliff faces, grey seal colony and all local history and quirky stories George has amassed over the years.

A trip to see wildlife where we actually saw what we were supposed to !!! This was a spur of the moment decision in Seahouses and we really enjoyed our two hour tour and saw numerous puffins( and other birds) and the seal colony. Great guide and boat captain. We’ll worth the money

I have to be truly honest - over priced for a very old, rotting, noisy and smelly boat. So we board on Tuesday 25th 12:30pm sailing. We were packed on like sardines, we luckily got an outer seat, however people were sitting around middle having to face others rather than the view! We set off, the boat is smoking and heavy fume smells, the engine was noisy from start to finish so having to talk loud over the noise! We could barely hear the info being given on the speaker as engine so loud. We arrive at the lighthouse Island - older man driving was on and off the power, so much that when his younger colleague was trying to tie the rope on land it suddenly snapped, we were all covered in green rope debri and I was hit on the back of the head with the rope, luckily myself or my 10 year old son were able to look away in time otherwise we may of lost an eye! The ropes were already frayed so no wonder it snapped under pressure. The Waves were not too choppy to dock but as they had a dodgy old rope we all missed out on the lighthouse tour - ONLY REASON WE BOOKED THIS ONE AS IT WAS MEANT TO TAKE YOU ON LAND TO GO IN THE LIGHTHOUSE! We then proceeded to circle a few small islands seeing birds and seals. I have to say for £70+ for 2 Adults and 1 child I would hope they would use some of their large profits from several packed boats per day to replave ropes more often and repair their boat as the seating on board is cracked and is rotting! Lets hope that the local RNLI don't need to rescue this old boat one day. Never an excuse for safety being ignored to rake in the cash - review this as it will cost you more and more business in the future!
