We really enjoyed this tour. The captain and crew were pleasant, knowledgeable, and the ride (just over an hour) was filled with beautiful views and great local history. There are two levels to the boat and both are great. The top level is covered so you won’t sizzle. Bring a light jacket, though, as the top deck can get breezy. There are other tour boat companies, but, for the price, and the comfort of this vessel, I feel lucky we snagged a last minute spot. Oh, there are restrooms on board and you can buy drinks on the first level of the boat.

The trip was wonderful! Our narrator was knowledgeable and covered many aspects of Newport history, from Colonial times to the present day. A special treat was seeing the Newport 4th-graders in their Optimist dinghies being towed back to their home port!

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon cruise on the Coastal Queen in Newport Harbor. The staff was very helpful, and our guide was both informative and entertaining. It was really nice to enjoy the entire experience sitting on an outdoor, shaded upper deck. This cruise is a great way to see Newport and the Newport Harbor.
