We will pick you at any place in Managua

  • Masaya Volcano, Masaya, Nicaragua
    Our first stop will be at a visitor center where information will be deliver of the history and geology of the volcano. Later we will drive to the summit of the volcano where we have the option to hike for 30 minutes and a different angle of the active crater and see a dormant crater too. Later with the sunset we will have the opportunity to see and hear the colony of Parakeet coming back to the wall of the active crater and nest . Now is the best time to see the movement of the magma flowing and bubbling.

This tour was really amazing and the highlight of my recent trip to Nicaragua. Gerald was my tour guide and he reached out ahead of time to confirm pick-up time and location. On the way to the national park we conversed about a variety of topics as he is very friendly and personable. Once at the park he proved to be extremely knowledgeable about the environment including the plants, animals and volcano. After a short time at the visitor center we completed the drive to the crater. The volcano is so cool and in my opinion even more impressive at night! To be so close to the rim and look down into the crater and see and hear the magma is something you must see with your own eyes and ears! It's really hard to describe with words, you have to experience it! Fantastic tour, thank you!

Travelled to Managua by myself, considered the news about the security, there was indeed a second thought before coming. I have done some research on TripAdvisor and found Gerald and his service. I emailed him and he replied quickly. We have set up the tour and here I come. Gerald was there at the airport to pick me up on time and sent me to the hotel on day 1. I signed up to the Managua city tour plus volcano tour the next day. But as the city tour starts in the afternoon and I had nothing to do in the morning, I checked with Gerald to see whether we can add anything in the morning. He recommended to have the Managua tour in the morning then Grenada tour and finally the volcano night tour. The tours were great and extremely memorable. Managua and Grenada are both safe to walk around and Gerald took me to different tourist sites and also projects to save animals and cafe that is served by handicap people. The evening tour to the volcano is an once in a life time experience. It was truly amazing to see the lava wave. So I highly recommend Gerald as your tour guide if you decide to come and visit the lovely country or Nicaragua!
