The driver came on time. But not good English. Couldn’t understand at all. He didn’t explain much even though he was not a guide.
Spent too much time in the perfume place. We were not interested and was not told we have to go there.
Other places We were allowed to see it by ourselves. Not explaining anything.
Not that great and would not recommend others to take this tour.
For no French speaking people you should give English speaking drivers so that we can ask questions.
His English was very bad and not good at all good.
Very bad pronunciation of English.
Train some English speaking drivers for foreigners.
Not satisfied.
The tour began with a hotel pickup around 8:30 in the morning. They pick up from any hotel or Airbnb in the area, which was very convenient. The first stop was at a perfumery where we were given a short tour. This part of the day felt more like a sales pitch than an enriching experience. Considering how limited the time was at the more scenic destinations, this stop felt unnecessary and like a missed opportunity. After the perfumery, we visited the village of Èze. It was absolutely beautiful and felt like a step back in time, with winding stone streets, mountain views, charming shops, and small cafés. However, there are a lot of stairs involved, so this stop might be difficult for anyone with mobility concerns. I wish we had more time to explore Èze, as it was a highlight of the day. Next, we were taken to a small town with a great view of Monaco. The area had many tourist shops and restaurants, but it required a good amount of uphill walking. Personally, I would have preferred to shorten or skip this stop to have more time elsewhere. It felt less meaningful than the other locations. The last stop was in the Monte Carlo Casino area. We were able to walk around the plaza, take photos, and briefly step into the casino area. This portion felt very rushed, but I understand that the tour tries to fit a lot into one day. Overall, this tour is best for travelers who are short on time and want to see a lot in one day at a lower cost. If you are hoping to explore at a slower pace or have any difficulty with stairs or hills, this tour might not be the best choice. Now, in regards to our guide experience: My roommate and I were the last to be picked up, which made sense with the route. We sat up front next to the driver since those were the only seats left. The guide, Igor, asked if I spoke Spanish. When I said yes, he immediately told me I would be translating for a group from Mexico. While I was happy to help the family feel more included, I did not appreciate being assigned that role without being asked. Throughout the day, I felt very uncomfortable with Igor’s driving. He was often aggressive behind the wheel and would flash his headlights at drivers who he felt were moving too slowly, turning too cautiously, or not merging fast enough. His visible frustration made the ride feel tense and sometimes unsafe. More concerning than the driving were Igor’s personal comments toward my roommate and me. As two young women traveling alone, we were very unsettled by the questions he asked. He wanted to know our ages, if we drank or smoked, and if we were looking for a relationship. He also told me I looked very fit and offered to take us to a private spot just the three of us after dropping the rest of the group off because we were “so beautiful.” We politely declined, but the situation made us extremely uncomfortable.
