  • * Kaitiaki is the Māori word for the Guardian of the Environment. This is collected on behalf of the local iwi for their role in taking care of Lake Taupō and the Waikato River. This will be collected when you arrive.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We had a really great time on our float tour yesterday. The guide was excellent and it was a great way to spend a few hours taking in the amazing scenery.

This was a very peaceful and enjoyable float. Even with the weather being overcast, we had a great time kayaking. Eloise was a fantastic guide. She took care of everything and answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend the trip with her.

Absolutely wonderful people! Beautiful river! Highly recommend! Such a relaxing and peaceful kayak. We also got to take a dip in the warm water.
