We were extremely lucky to have a beautiful almost Spring day for our walking tour. Our guide Cindy was excellent and the film that begins the tour with the harrowing tale of the 1931 earthquake set the context very well. Definitely a must for first time Napier visitors like us. Cindy also has excellent suggestions for the rest of the day including the Earthquake House exhibit ( be warned the whole house shakes) in the Napier Museum and treats from Cuteney’s Cakes.
