It is well worth paying a little extra for the most in depth session! Simon was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging throughout. His input both before and during the walking tour was outstanding. He pointed out many features and small details that we would never have noticed. He also included anecdotes to add local colour to the afternoon. He was very considerate of the group’s needs on a hot day and found shady spots for us to stop as required! We saw and learnt a great deal about the fascinating history of the town. Highly recommended! The Art Deco Trust shop is fascinating and well stocked. All staff were friendly - their costumes and enthusiasm were excellent too!

What an eclectic township. The guided tour, including a short film on the history behind it, really opened our eyes to this wonderfully unique place. With informative, in costume, local guides and lessons in identification of Art Deco elements, this was like a treasure hunt. From the heritage centre to the shopping precinct, seafront and most in between. Enthused us into more in depth meandering for our own enjoyment just to really to capture the essence of this extravaganza of Art Deco in reality. Well worth the walk, even between the rain drops, as it were, for us
