Join our small Wine Tour group to explore a huge variety of Hawkes Bay Wines lasting all afternoon. Visit 4 very different Wineries. 2 - Boutique Wineries set in the world famous Gimblett Gravels. Learn about the region, how, why, and what Wines are produced in what is regarded as the “Premium Wine Region in New Zealand”. Visit a 3rd boutique Winery set in sheep growing country. Walk around the Vineyards learning the Winemaking process from the Vine to the Bottle, Visit New Zealand’s only Vegetarian (Vegan) certified Winery. This is a “must do” experience. You will also visit the oldest Winery in New Zealand. Here you will learn about their history dating back to the 1830’s in Lyon, France. You will finish the tour with a small souvenir, and a souvenir Wine glass. All tastings, admissions and any drinks advertised are included in the tour price. Tour is door to door within Napier on the day.

    You will visit 4 very different top performing Wineries, One Boutique Winery located out on the world famous Gimblett Gravels Visit another "unique" Boutique Winery producing spectacular "Natural" Wines. Here you can either take a guided walk around a Chardonnay vineyard and working Winery, to learn the process from the Vine to your Glass, or, enjoy a cheese board / platter. Please inform us of your choice when booking. You will taste a great number of Wines from their range. Visit New Zealand's third oldest Winery and taste a flight of premium Wines in the beautiful French styled Cellar. Finally learn the history and taste a flight of Wines at New Zealand's oldest Winery. All tour costs are included.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Friend and I went 15th to 22nd Sept and stayed at Wai iti cottage in the Te Mata wine area and this was to coincide with the Hastings Blossom festival and Parade on the Saturday 20th. We were given free tickets for 2 seats on parade route ( we are in our late 80's ) which gave us great view of parade. Visited Askerne vineyard, ( just down the road from where we were staying )a snack lunch, also to Birdwoods Sculptures, and Sunday Farmers Market. An enjoyable 7 days

Our guide Kirsty was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the area and its wines. We were so lucky to be the only ones on our tour. Experienced 3 lovely wineries and a delicious cheese platter.

Our tour was just the two of us in the end but it was brilliant. Kirsty was an amazing host, very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions! Even had a cheeky trip to the chocolate factory! Such a good tour, would highly recommend.
