We had a two day layover in Beijing and hired this company to guide us. We arrived at 730 am and followed their instructions for a temporary visa. The instructions were excellent and we got through the airport very quickly. Our guide was Sherry and she was very personable. On day one we went to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Palace. We went quickly as it was very cold (January) so Sherry suggested we visit a Tea house for tea tasting to warm us. The day also included a nice lunch at a traditional place and a visit to a silk factory. Before dropping us at the hotel she pointed out the shopping district and suggested a restaurant. On day two she was waiting for us in the lobby at 730 am. She took us to a bakery for coffee and snacks before heading to the Great Wall. throughout the tour her knowledge was good, she answered all our questions and she took pictures at all the best spots. We would not have been able to see such amazing sites without her guidance. Thank you Sherry and we made it to the airport with lots of time to spare.
I had a very good experience with Beijing Impression (http://www.beijingimpression.com/) tour company. I was in Beijing on business, and only had two days to sightsee. I did the one day private tour from Beijing to Xian by flight to see the Terra Cotta soldiers. I was picked up at my hotel on time, and the driver went with me into the airport to check in. The tour guide, Eva, was waiting on the other side with a sign with my name on it, and off we went to see the Terra Cotta soldiers, the Xian City Wall, and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Eva was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. We did make a factory stop to see how the souvenir soldiers were made, but it was interesting. The next day, I took a tour of Beijing with tour guide Andi, and went to the Beijing Zoo to see the Pandas (which wasn't originally part of the tour, but which I requested when I booked the trip), then saw Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and finally the great wall at Mutianyu, which was farther away from Beijing, but a very good place to see the wall. You can take a cable car up, walk the part of the wall with the best views, and then toboggan down! The tour guide tobogganed down with me. Andi was very knowledgeable and attentive as well. So, this tour company was reliable, did what they promised, and the tour guides and drivers were great. If I were to go back to China, I would use them again.

We had a four day private tour with Beijingtoursguide in October which was fantastic. Our flight arrived at midnight and Helen our tour guide was there ready to pick us up at the airport and transfer us to our hotel. Helen and the driver made our time in Beijing hassle free always on time a great smile and a Ni Hoa. The weather was perfect and although the week we was in Beijing it was the Chinese annual holidays and very busy Helen and the driver made life easy and everything flowed smoothly. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven booked as part of our tour and we were very happy with the accommodation and location. Our breakfasts plus 5 other meals at various restaurants was also included as part of the tour. We visited the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Beihai Park,Summer Place, Mutianyu Great Wall and a visit to a Hutong which were all great. Our tour also included a transfer to Tiangin Cruise Terminal and all for a very reasonable price. Our emails were always promtply replied to and we cannot recommend Beijingtoursguide highly enough, Xie Xie Nne to everydody at Beijingtoursguide.com
