Liulichang Street, Beijing, China Your guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8:30am. Then transfer you to the Liulichang Antique Street, a small street with some hutongs (lanes) lined with shops facades bearing Ming and Qing dynasty architectural features. With brightly painted doors and eaves and gracefully curved black-tiled-roofs buildings, a little of old Beijing's lifestyle is preserved here. 60 minutes
Panjiayuan Antique Market, Beijing, China Then drive to Panjiayuan Market. This so called "weekend market" is a huge, eclectic mix of goods from all over China: old, new, curios, antiques, fakes, craft and treasure, with some amazing items for sale. It's fascinating just to wander and even more fun if you can find a bargain. It's well organized, full of life, color, and the 3000+ stalls are a variety of open-air, covered and shops mainly open on the weekend. But, after some refurbishment work, it is now open for business seven days a week. 60 minutes
Baoguo temple cultural market, Beijing, China After lunch, go on to visit Baoguosi Cultural Market which is similar to Panjiayuan Market but started later. 60 minutes
Pearl Market (Hongqiao Market), Beijing, China Hongqiao Market is located in the south central area of Beijing, just to the east of the Temple of Heaven. It is filled mainly with cheap electronic goods like portable CD players, vcd players, camcorders, batteries, sunglasses, electronics, household phones. The items for sale are less brand conscious and tend to be from real "no-name" Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Thai companies. 60 minutes

Jimmy ( China Highlights Beijing guide) was outstanding. His English was great, very patient, helped us with our shopping needs and negotiated prices. We have been to Beijing before and to this market but it is because of him that we 'really' enjoyed it this time. He is the one to have as your guide when visiting Beijing. We will request him for our return trip to Beijing in the future.
