Your exploration begins with a visit to the stunning Temple of Heaven visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is one of several worship sites in the capital where the emperors offered sacrifices.The Temple of Heaven was constructed between 1406 and 1420 during the reign of Ming Emperor YongLe (reign: 1403-1424), who also oversaw the creation of the Forbidden City during the same period.

Autumn is the best time of year to be outside in Beijing so I decided to check out the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven since they’re both all outdoors. My guide was Anson again (I had him for the Forbidden City tour) and he was just as awesome and knowledgeable as last time. The driver also spoke great English and both communicated really well from when I booked the tour until it was over. Overall great time and highly recommended.

Really really cold day (minus 10 maybe more ) do not stop us ... this experience fill up our mind ... lakes pagodas .. lical tasty food ... the magical world of pandas ... and the helpul tour guide

We booked a last moment private tour during our recent trip . Our english speaking tour guide Susan was waiting for us in the lobby next day at 8.30 am , excellent email communication given we had booked it just few hrs eralier on previous night . Tour covered giant panda zoo , Summer palace , Temple of Heaven , lunch at a local resturant , and tea tasting with all tickets covered. Susan went above and beyond our expectation ensuring our special diet needs are taken care , also great at explaining the history behind the places we visited. Would recommend this tour to anyone !
