If you are not a morning person or a shutterbug, this private sunset Great Wall tour is a good choice. The tour starts at 11:00 am, and you will have a chance to enjoy the most amazing Sunsets on both the Gubeikou and Jinshanling Great Walls. The view of the sunset is outstanding! Additional Service: We can prepare a bottle of red wine for your Great Wall sunset experience. The price is USD 35 or 240 RMB. Please note this when making your reservation; your guide will help you arrange the wine. The fee should be paid directly to your guide at the end of the tour.

    The adventure begins gently at Gubeikou village with a short climb up to a broken tower. Walk eastward and enjoy plenty of photography stops before you reach General Tower. From there you will capture the true nature of Gubeikou Mountain. (1.5 hours)

    1-hour trek the Jinshanling Great Wall to the best photo place. Enjoy the most beautiful Sunset view from the Great Wall. Jinshanling Great Wall is 150kms away from downtown Beijing. It is super beautiful and quiet. It is one of the best places for photographers to take Great Wall photos. If it is not on the weekend or holiday, we always the only people on the wall by sunset.

Once in a life time experience! It was just amazing! Leo, the guide, is by far the best guide I ever had! Outstanding English, super friendly, very well informed, super helpful, in a few words the guide everybody dreams off! The tour in itself is also just magical! You will be on part of the wall that are stunning, with nobody around you! And surrounded by a gorgeous and peaceful nature! Certainly a must do! Worth the trip and the investment!

If you want visit the Great Wall „off the beaten track“ this is your tour. Both sections (Gubeikou and Jinshanling) that we visited have been almost empty (during the week). Our guide Leo was fantastic, not only as a guide to the wall but as well as photographer bringing his own professional camera (he is also offering special visits to forbidden city with a focus on photography). We can really recommend booking your trip with Beijing Walking Tours.

Our tour guide, Adele, was amazing!! I highly recommend this tour (and her!) if you're looking for an authentic way to see the Great Wall. We experienced the almost empty "Wild Great Wall" at Gubeikou and enjoyed unprecedented views first before heading over to the restored wall at Jinshanling for sunset. Be prepared for a LOT of walking and some steep stairs. The sunset was stunning and we finished the day with a family-style meal at a local restaurant. The food was great too. 10/10 recommend!
