    Your English speaking guide and private car will pick you up at in your hotel's lobby.  Heading directly Longqing Gorge, on the way you will driving pass by Juyongguan Great Wall. Your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories sit back enjoy the sceneries along the way.
  • The Great Wall at Badaling, Beijing, China
    You will also driving pass by Badaling Great Wall. Enjoy amazing views while driving.
  • Longqing Gorge, Beijing, China
    Upon arrival. Follow your tour guide to explore the Longqing Gorge area. The Longqing Gorge is flanked on both sides by green peaks. People often say Longqing Gorge is a small Li River in Guilin, but it is more beautiful than Li River; it is a small three gorges on the Yangtze River, but it is more dangerous than the Three Gorges. The valleys feature beautiful scenery and clear water like mirrors, where tourists feast their eyes with not only cliffs, peaks and steep rocks, but also with many stone cones, stone swords, stone pillars, solution crevices.etc Take the fun dragon escalator up then experience a cruise along the beautiful lake which will give you a nice memory, enjoy amazing view of the area and be amazed by the beauty of the nature. Explore the temples and island with your tour guide and spend about 2 hours inside the Long Qing Gorge

  • Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling), Beijing, China
    Next, stop at a local restaurant  for a delicious Chinese countryside style lunch. Approximately 40 minutes in duration. Then heading directly to Dingling at the Ming Tombs.
  • Dingling Underground Palace, Beijing, China
    Dingling Tomb, the only underground palace which was open to the public. Dingling is the tomb of Emperor Zhu Yijun, the longest ruling period of all the 16 Ming emperors. The construction started when he was only 22, and it took 6 years to finish. It was completed in 1590. After he died, he was buried in Dingling with his two empresses. Your guide will give a detailed stories about the Ming dynasties history and tell the life story of the owner of this tomb.You will be amazed by the complicated burial culture in the Ming Dynasty  After the Dingling visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing where this wonderful private day trip concludes.

Lucy was such a great guide! This was my second day of a 4 week trip and one of the most memorable days! Lucy was very knowledgeable and enhanced the visit to the Longqing Gorge and Ming Tombs. She took us for a delicious lunch as well!

We had a great time and enjoyed doing something outside the city. Especially since some attractions were closed due to an upcoming country holiday. This was probably one of the best tours we had, especially because were NOT taken to any pearl, jade or silk store! Jimmy (the travel guide) made all the difference. He was punctual, attentive, and knew his history. Jimmy, if you read this, thank you for everything! You made all the difference and you were one of the best guides we had in China.
