Leo went far and beyond what was called of him for me on my trip to Beijing. He not only arranged a English speaking driver to take me to the wall but also informed me and answered a multitude of questions I had about Beijing! Even when my questions had nothing to do with what I had paid for! I would highly recommend booking through him because of this alone! He truly made my trip so much easier! Thank you Leo

We hired a driver for the day to take our family of 4 to the jinshaling section of the wall. Needless to say it was the highlight of our China trip. Andy was our driver (B package) and he picked us up promptly at the agreed time at the hotel. Andy was a safe and informative driver - who drove us there safely and back. He was a wealth of information and spoke perfect English - gave us some tips and helped us get our tickets and set us on our way. He was then patient and waited for us to return. With little children that section of the wall took 4.5hrs to complete but it was amazing!!! Loved every minute of it! Having a private driver helped to make the trip out there easier as it was a good 2.5 hr drive from Beijing.

Ich habe für einen (gut) englischsprechenden Fahrer angefragt, der uns vor Ort mit dem Ticketkauf behilflich sein soll. Genau das bekamen wir auch: Wir haben uns schon Wochen vorher eine Abholzeit ausgemacht. Dadurch, dass es unsere erste Chinareise war, haben wir uns natürlich nach dem Fahrer gerichtet. Er sollte am besten wissen, wann man losfährt. Wir haben uns 6:45 Uhr ausgemacht. Am Tag davor bekam ich nochmal eine Mail, in der der Fahrer die Abholzeit bestätigt hat (hat sich auf 6.40 Uhr geändert). Unser Fahrer war Jason und er war überpünktlich. Sein Englisch ist wirklich sehr gut. Wir konnten ihn alles fragen und haben uns richtig lange und gut unterhalten. Bei der Mauer waren wir eine der ersten. Wie versprochen half er uns beim Ticketkauf und hat uns auch sonst alles weitere erklärt. Wir haben die Option mit der Gondel rauf und runter genommen. In der Gondel passen maximal 2 Personen rein. Die Scheiben der Gondeln sind leider schon so milchig, also war die Aussicht dementsprechend. Die Mauer selbst war ein Traum. Hier und da mal ein paar Touristen. Manche gingen in die entgegengesetzte Richtung, manche waren schneller, manche langsamer; wir waren eigentlich so gut wie immer alleine. Wir waren am Tag davor beim Mauerabschnitt "Mutianyu". Auch dort war es schön, bloß war es mit Jinshanling nicht zu vergleichen. Hier war keine Liftstation im Bild, oder Strommasten. Es war einfach nur die Mauer und die Landschaft herum. Jason hat uns erzählt, dass dieser Mauerabschnitt eher selten gewählt wird, weil er so weit weg und etwas teurer ist. Dadurch, dass wir in Mutianyu und Jinshanling waren, kann ich sagen, dass Jinshanling die bessere Wahl war. Eindeutig.
