I arrived in Beijing a few days before a business trip without having made many plans. I wanted to experience some of the performance culture and booked this tour largely for the event at the Teahouse. This was nice, but actually the tour with Jimmy was the real highlight. He was full of information about history, the modern city and the hutongs. When he learned of my interest in the hutongs, he changed the tour so we could avoid the tourist areas and we went deep into the hutongs south of Tiananmen. Absolutely fascinating and nothing I could have done on my own. A super experience!! Thanks!!
