    This is a personal guided tour around the famous Belfast murals. Painted by ex-prisoners from both sides of the community, these murals tell individual stories of conflict, community strife, civil rights and unrest, stories of inspiration, prison protests and much more. Your guide, using local knowledge, will relate stories to you in an understandable format, using photographs/video from the 1960s onward depicting the neighborhoods you will visit. You can almost feel the atmosphere as you stand at the exact spots these events took place on over fifty years later in the present. Vehicles are new MPVs, fully air conditioned, comfortable and safe

The driver was so interesting, and gave us a real insight into the Belfast Murals and their history, and was very easy to chat with. A real nice chap. Fully recommend the tour if you want to learn about the 2 communities that live side by side in Belfast.

We booked this tour prior to coming to Belfast. Spoke with John via email who responded quickly and got us booked in. Slight mix up with the hotels for pick-up (there are multiple Premier Inn’s!!) but John kept us in the loop and sorted this quickly! The tour was approx. 2 hours - we seen the murals on both sides, seen the Peace wall and more! John was very knowledgeable, gave us loads of information and told us about some first hand experiences too. He gave us time to take pictures, ask questions and offered to take pictures of us in front of some of the murals too. John was also very accommodating when it came to some murals that we wanted to see that he hadn’t shown us already. Very friendly, professional and we can’t recommend him enough! Will definitely recommend John to others looking to do this tour. Very glad we came across him when searching. :)

We highly recommend this tour. We had Tom as our driver and guide. He incorporated his own experience of growing up during the troubles with the description of the murals and at the points of interest we visited as part of the tour. Tom was very informative and made the tour very interesting. The taxi was very comfortable.
