The opportunity to experience a tour of a lifetime. Understanding Belfast's troubled history with a honestly presented political tour by Republican and Loyalist ex-political prisoners. Discover a side of Belfast you won't find in the Tourist books, We invite you to walk the streets of the city on both sides of the Peace Wall with the men and women who have served time in prisons of Northern Ireland for standing up for their beliefs. Republican and Loyalist ex-prisoners will share their own personal stories and the effects on their communities and explain the murals that tell the local history and culture of each area. The only tour to give you two truly opposing views of 'The Troubles' through the streets of West Belfast. A portion of the tours proceeds goes to working with local children in cross community projects.

Fantastic tour & great to have two sides , an open mind is needed as both guides are very passionate about both the past & current situation. Be prepared for a lot of walking , the tour flies by as it’s so interesting & it’s not difficult walking or strenuous however I’m so pleased I wore my comfy trainers, hat & gloves ! We discussed this tour for hours later & can totally recommend this tour

The walking tour is a great way to obtain opposing views from both sides of this sad conflict! It is incredibly interesting to see how the conflict has shaped the views of each speaker and approach to the future! While both sides are each proportioned with blame, the history is told with passion and honesty! Perhaps a little long as this 3 hour tour ended up lasting nearly 4 hours!

This is a must if your visiting Belfast and are interested in 'The Troubles'. Jack and Mark were fantastic! Good to see both sides story. Jack was more historical and political, whilst Mark focused more on the devastation and loss caused by the conflict. It makes you sad to think that in this day and age that this has not been resolved.
