Our group of staff and volunteers from the Irish, British, Netherlands and Belgian Red Cross Socetieis did the walking tour of Derry with RuairI on the 9th of November. Despite the fact that I made an error and booked for 09:00 and then thought it was for 10:00 (thus arriving an hour late!) Ruairí was incredibly gracious and accommodating. The tour itself was fantastic - I have been on other walking tours of Derry and I felt that this was the most engaging, knowledgable, humourous, accessible and balanced tour I've experienced. Ruairí is a fantastic guide who was able to really engage the entire group. We all learned a huge amount about Derry and its history and it has given all of us a much greater appreciation for the area and the people. We will definitely be booking this tour for future visiting groups!

The Tours of Derry walking tour was absolutely perfect. Ruairi was informative, friendly, and presented information in an easy to understand manner. His knowledge of Derry and it’s history is impressive and he gives a balanced account of Derry’s past. We are frequent travelers and have done walking tours in many cities, but in all honesty have never enjoyed one or learned more than we did on this Tours of Derry tour with Ruairi!
