Join the Traditional Uluru Family in their homelands and experience their culture and family history. A unique and exclusive touring experience, Patji is located just outside of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park south of Uluru. Explore this extraordinary environment by 4WD with your Aboriginal guide, stopping along the journey to hear stories such as how Paddy Uluru fought for Aboriginal land rights to where Uluru is today. The Uluru family will share their personal story with you during this authentic cultural experience. Join them for afternoon tea under a remote shelter to hear how they survived in this desert environment before tourism started in the region. continue on to a private sand dune to view the great expanse of the desert overlooking Uluru and Kata Tjuta enjoying sunset with drinks and light snacks. andrew, rachel and michael were fantastic guides and we learned a lot. took us to areas not accessible otherwise. the sunset stop was beyond amazing, core memories created for our crew

Great experience. Sunset lasted a lot longer than the sunset we saw at the National Park site. Sky stayed red for a long time after the sunset. Trent, Verna, and Stephanie were excellent. We learned a lot and had fun tasting the lollipop straight from the tree that they eat and give their kids. Also had fun exploring and climbing rocks to look for animals and checking out scenery from a different vantage point.

This was an interesting opportunity to see the Outback on Aboriginal land. Our driver and guide did an excellent job of making the tour interexting and enjoyable for all. We learned from the stories by Verna, an Aborginal lady as she shared their history and showed us two works of art created by her nephew. The ride was on dirt roads or no roads so expect to bounce . We did have one problem as there was a time change and we were not notified. That resulted in two of our party missing the excursion as they had a different activity planned and three of us needed to cancel an excursion to accommodate the new time. That said, the tour was great and we enjoyed our day very much. We found the driver/ guide to be especially welcoming and informative.
